The Colorado Eagles had the best regular season since joining the American Hockey League in 2018. They finished 43–21–5–3 while clinching their first AHL Pacific Division title in franchise history. Head coach Aaron Schneekloth, now in his second year as head coach, said that he has made it his goal to take the team as far as it can go. Colorado will have a first-round bye in the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Eagles made it to the Division Finals for the first time in franchise history (AHL), but were eliminated in Game Five by the Abbotsford Canucks (VAN).
