Evan is a native of California, having spent most of his life in Colorado. He has covered the Colorado Avalanche since 2020, as the previous managing editor of Mile High Hockey. He graduated from Colorado State University in 2023 with his bachelor's degree in political science and media studies. He currently works as the athletic communications graduate assistant and is obtaining his master's degree in business administration at Alfred University.
