A new season has arrived, and Colorado Avalanche fans have much to anticipate. Not only will we get to see the debut of rookie T.J. Hughes, but the Avs will take part in their very first Winter Classic. Besides that, every team will release a new Hometown Remix jersey. Thanks to Icethetics, we have details on what both Avalanche jerseys might look like. Icethetics dropped a massive update for every team they could on Sunday, including a ton of details about the Winter Classic sweaters for the Avs.
Winter Classic
The Avs will play in the marquee game of the year against the Utah Mammoth on New Year’s Eve in Salt Lake City. Colorado has played three outdoor games in the past, bringing us the Nordiques jersey in 2021. The Winter Classic will be a special one, though, with a complete redesign of the uniform and logo (seen above).
Fans can expect a vintage white jersey, similar to the Pittsburgh Penguins of 2023. The uniform will also include a matte-finish burgundy helmet, burgundy gloves, and burgundy pants. If history has told us anything, we can probably expect an announcement in late November for the Winter Classic jersey.

Hometown Remix
The Hometown Remix jersey will be going in the complete opposite direction of the Winter Classic. The jersey will feature only blue shades on white, with no burgundy at all. Other sources indicate that they will release the Hometown Remix jersey soon. Some teams will play games in early November wearing the jerseys. So we might see it appear on the market within the next couple of weeks.
Avalanche fans last saw two new jerseys in one year during the 2015–16 season. The team released the current third jersey and held the 2016 Stadium Series that year. So Avalanche fans have a lot to look forward to this season, but they better stash money aside for those new jerseys coming out soon.
