The Colorado Avalanche have their eyes set on sweeping the Los Angeles Kings in Game Four on Sunday afternoon. Colorado will look to turn the City of Angels into a City of Avalanches with their fourth-straight win.
The Avs have had some struggles with scoring, having people’s eyes on those issues. However, they hold the commanding series lead and can put those struggles to rest for the time being with the win.

The Avalanche took Game Three with their highest-scoring effort yet, winning 4β2. Colorado allowed its first 5-on-5 goal of the series, but it’s still the only one allowed. LA has only scored on the man advantage and gotten some puck luck alongside it.
On the flip side, Colorado has not yet scored on the power play, which could be of concern. Nonetheless, they’re still getting the job done at even strength and got a big shorthanded goal from Artturi Lehkonen to cap off Game Three.

The team has its eyes set on the second round with another victory. However, they’ll have to do it without Josh Manson, who is out with an upper-body injury. Expect Nick Blankenburg to slot in.

LA is in now-or-never mode, as their season is on the line. They’ve done their job defensively, shutting down the high-powered scoring of the Avs offense.
However, they’ve struggled offensively with their own depth. Aside from Artemi Panarin and Alex Laferriere, no other King has scored multiple points in this Stanley Cup Playoff first-round matchup.
